Page Builder

We have a host of new options for images uploaded to the Page Builder.

1. Choice of hover states for clickable images.

We now have the choice for an image to zoom, or apply an overlay on hover.

We can choose the behaviour in the image settings →

2. Option to expand an image 🌅

We have the choice to expand an image on click to show it full size.

We just have to tick the ‘Enlarge image?’ box in image settings!

We’ve also enabled Spell Checker on Page Builder!

Asset Library

We’ve given each Asset View it’s own unique URL, so we can use link the Asset View from other parts of the BrandHub or share with others.

Page Builder

We’re adding sub-menu items to the Page Builder. By clicking a sub-menu item, we’ll be taken straight to the relevant part of that page:

Administrators can add a sub-menu item in a couple of clicks:

1. Hover over the respective strip & click the ‘link’ icon
2. Type a name for the menu item
3. Click Add link to strip!

Sub-menu items will show on the specific page.

We’ve also spent some time updating the ‘Recently Added Assets’ Strip that shows the 20 most recent assets uploaded.

Reporting Cube

We’ve revamped the User Report to include client specific fields.

These will vary by BrandHub, depending on the information we ask for on the registration form.

Asset Library

We’ve updated the Asset Library’s Grid View:

• increasing the size of our results, showing 5 per row
• opening our category filters by default
• 1 parent keyword is opened, to keep our list of filters as short as possible

Design Studio

We’ve added an Edit & Preview mode to Design Studio templates.

• Edit mode optimises our template preview size to help speed things up ⚡️
• Preview mode uses a higher resolution to check artwork before saving 🌅

This will let us make quicker changes & see the preview updated.

Search

We’ve split our Global Search results up into different tabs.

Once we’ve entered a search term, we can choose the type of results we’d like to see. Then open it right away 📂

We’ve made a few style updates too, including a larger search area, & left-aligning our trending searches.

Asset View

Building on top of our recent Asset View improvements, we’ve added a few more quality of life tweaks.

• We’ve made the shadow behind the pop-up transparent, so we can see exactly where we are. Clicking the shadow will take us back to the search results.
• We can increase the size of our preview if needed. Just hover over the image & click expand!
• Reduced the maximum amount of metadata in the description & usage fields from 4 lines to 3 lines.

Design Studio

By popular request, we can drag & drop keywords to put them in the correct position.

Page Builder

Continuing to add flexibility to our pages, we had a look at our interactive strips.

We’ve turned these strips into blocks, so they can be configured & combined like other parts of Page Builder. The possibilities are endless!

Another popular request, we have updated the Administrator view of Page Builder.

• Shows more pages at a glance, with quick actions.
• Find pages by name - just type! 🔎
• Added Last Modified date

• Admins can duplicate a strip with a click of a button ✨
• We copy the strips layout, properties, & content → just not images or video we’ve uploaded!
• We can’t duplicate an interactive strip ❌

• We’ve made changes to the way we load pages… in particular, we’ll see a difference on larger guidelines pages. Some clients have seen pages load 2x quicker ⚡️⚡️

• We’ve updated the max image size from 512kb → 2 MB. Perfect for larger images & GIFs!
• New block type - space 💫 - we can add this block anywhere & make the size pixel perfect.
• Added a ‘Dark mode’ to make editing light text easier. Just click it to make the background darker when editing.💡

There’s an updated UI when editing a template!
