What appears in the Brand Hub?
A notification icon can be seen in the top right of the screen. As notifications are added they will be represented by a number in the circle. This circle will disappear if the user has no new notifications. From the notification centre the user will be able to view all notifications.
Clicking on the notification icon will show the most recent notifications in a list view. The default view will be ‘ordered by time’ and will show the most recent notifications first. Users can click a notification to be taken to the relevant page.
Users can choose to view notifications ‘ordered by time’ (most recent first) or ‘grouped by category’ using the options at the top of the notification list. When grouped by category, notifications will be shown with the most recent first within each category.
Each notification is accompanied by an icon relating to the area of the site/category to which it relates (for example baskets or user management). Each notification will contain the following information:
- Site area icon e.g. User icon
- Notification title e.g. Account awaiting approval
- Description text e.g. New user (email) has requested access to the part of the site you administrate
- Relative date/time of notification e.g. 1 hour ago, 1 day ago, 2 weeks ago
- Link to relative site area (this will not be displayed however will action upon clicking the notification)
Notification states
New notifications (counted within the circle on the notification icon) have the status ‘new’. This is signified by a grey background. Once the notification has been opened, revealing the notification to the user, the status is changed to ‘seen’. This is signified by a change in background state to white.
Removing notifications
Notifications can be removed from the notification centre using the 'X' in the top right hand corner of any notification. Alternatively, in the category view, an entire category of notifications can be removed using the 'X' next to the category heading. When removing an entire category, the user will be prompted to confirm the decision before the notifications are all deleted.

- Account awaiting approval: Notification to admins of new user registrations
Category: Baskets
- Basket ready to download: When the basket has finished processing
- A basket has been shared: When a user shares a basket with you
Category: Asset orders
- Order confirmation: To the user who ordered the asset
- Order placed: To admins of the section within which the asset sits.
- Order approved: To the user who placed the order when it is approved by the admin.
- Order declined: To the user who placed the order when it is declined by the admin.
Category: Assets
- New assets uploaded: notifies the user if they have permission to view them
- Expiring assets all: notifies users of assets that expire in 30 days if they have downloaded them
- Expiring assets admin: sent to all admins when assets expire in 35 days
- Updated assets: a list of any assets that have been modified within the Brand Centre within the last 24 hours
- Subscribed keyword notification: When a new asset is made available/public within the Brand Centre and it contains a keyword that a user has requested to be notified about, this will then display in the users notifications column. The user will receive a link to a grid view of all relevant assets.

- New creative waiting for feedback: To the approvers and master approvers selected to review the creative.
- Feedback on your creative is ready: To the user who sent the asset for approval, once an approver/master approver has ‘approved’ or ‘declined’
Category: Activity management
- A task has been completed: To the project owner when a task within their project is completed.
- A task has been assigned to you: To the task assignee when a task assigned to them starts.
- An approval has been assigned to you: To the approval assignee when a task with an approval assigned to them starts.
- An approval has been actioned: To the project owner when an approval within their project is actioned.

Subscribed keywords
In addition to the notifications that are automatically available to all users, individual users can ‘subscribe’ to receive notifications for particular Keywords. To do this, the use must click ‘Manage notifications’ under their username in the header and choose their subscribed keywords.
When selecting a keyword in the panel on the left, any parent keywords will also be selected. They can be removed by double clicking on them within the selected keywords box, if required.
